Job Description
Recruits, onboards, and manages country tier 2 Resellers partners leveraging Account Plan , integrated joint solution capability with key distributors, to achieve channel/company new bookings and enterprise new logo growth objectives.
Responsibilities

Partner Recruitment

• Collaborate with Key Distributors to research, identify and develop prospective indirect resellers products and services, relevant competencies, and geo coverage in order to relate their value prop to Equinix’s.
• Tailors message and partner pitch to indirect reseller company on how partnering with Equinix & key distributor, can help to grow their business.
• Identifies and establishes contact with initial sponsor within prospective indirect reseller partners
• Expertly articulates business value of reselling Equinix
• Identifies near term indirect reseller potential opportunities as first targets and potential new logo opportunities

Partner Relationship Management

• Describes relevant participation requirements and benefits of Partner Programs, describing program application, approval process, and timeline
• Drives Partner Portal Registrations and access

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Leverages Direct and Channel Sales leaders as appropriate
• Monitors and manages indirect reseller with Distributor opportunities in SFDC, being sure to make AE on a given end user opportunity part of the opportunity team as a supporting rep

Communications

• Communicates welcome; sets expectations and timeline for onboarding
• Establishes cadence of regular contact as partner pipeline grows

Qualifications

• 8+ years experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
