QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience working for a transit operations company, transit technology company or transit consulting agency. Demonstrated experience engaging with public-sector transportation stakeholders, including city and state governments, regional transit authorities, and federal agencies such as the FTA or USDOT.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to learn new software systems quickly. Familiarity with transit software operations is a plus.
  • Writing Skills: Aptitude for writing comprehensive long-form proposal submissions for potential Customers, such as communities and transit agencies. You will need to effectively communicate Downtowner’s ability to address a potential Customer’s technical needs in the context of our technology, operational capabilities, and expert team support.
  • Proficient with Spreadsheets: Experience creating complex budgets for services being provided to a customer.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Relationship Building: Proven ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and internal teams.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously.
  • Passion: A genuine interest in transit and mobility solutions.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Partner Success Manager at Downtowner, you’ll be the face and voice of Downtowner for our current and potential customers. You’ll work collaboratively with communities and agencies to develop, deploy and optimize transportation networks around the U.S.

WHAT YOU’LL DOCUSTOMER ADVISORY & STRATEGY

  • Act as a trusted advisor and consultant to our customers helping them maximize the effectiveness of their transit services.
  • Provide technical guidance on transit-related laws, funding programs / grants, and policy frameworks to internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Develop and manage strategies to build and strengthen relationships with local, state, regional, and federal officials and transportation agencies, particularly in communities where Downtowner operates or plans to expand
