Job Description As a Partnership and Engagement Leader you’ll play an important part in the team. You will be given the opportunity to work on topics ranging from climate to nature to human rights, and beyond, and to build relationships both across the IKEA business and with partners externally. The impact of our work will resonate across the business. On a typical working day, you will: Lead the external engagement for selected sustainability topics, building in depth knowledge over time. Contribute to the development of sustainability topics, participate in internal cross-functional working groups. Lead relationships with partners, including NGOs and business organisations. Responsibilities include coordinating IKEA standpointsgathering insightsand actively engaging in advocacy efforts Support planning for global events, including preparing messages and speaking points for IKEA spokespeople Support the development of the IKEA sustainability strategy, policies and our annual reporting. Support sustainability integration into communication plans This role directly supports IKEA’s strategic sustainability goals by: Effective and credible external stakeholder engagement and partnerships that strengthen the IKEA Brand and meets mandatory requirements. High-quality, fact-based sustainability content aligned with external expectations and IKEA priorities, as supports formal reporting requirements (CSRD). Strengthening IKEA’s position as a leader in sustainable business practices. Qualifications The role as a Partnerships and Engagement Leader requires you to: Have solid knowledge and interest in at least one of the sustainability topic areas, and experience from interacting with stakeholders including NGOs, UN organisations, or policy makers, and familiarity with legal requirements such as reporting initiatives (ESG/CSRD) Have a passion for societal and sustainability topics, and keep up to date with emerging sustainability developments Have experience in how to plan and execute strategic sustainability projects such as engagement activities or sustainability reporting and enjoy 'rolling up your sleeves' and work closely with stakeholders to get the job done Additional Information Be yourself, a Partnership and Engagement Leader, and more!
