  • Bachelor’s degree required. ((Science or Healthcare-related field preferred).
  • Experience, including # of years.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive field sales experience in specialty or biotech markets.
  • Demonstrated success in product launches.
  • Experience in rare diseases or neurology considered an asset.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive identification and referral of patients appropriate for Biogen therapies, accelerating adoption of current and future brands.
  • Promote Biogen’s end-to-end value proposition — including brands, programs, services, and technology — to reinforce leadership in rare diseases. Define the critical success factors for the assigned territory, develop, execute and monitor the strategic account plan, accordingly, taking the lead to mobilize the appropriate resources, collaborating with the cross-functional head-office team and field partners.
  • Identify and support the execution of educational or operational initiatives such as Other Learning Activities (OLAs) and efficiency projects that improve disease management for HCPs and Patients. Analyze, track and report account performance, manage appropriately the allocated territory activity budget while performing other administrative requirements on a timely basis.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of the disease state, competitive landscape, and clinical best practices; actively seek continuous learning opportunities.
  • As needed, take on/assist in extra duties to support team business.
  • Perform company business in compliance with relevant regulations, company policies and procedures.
