Waypoint Centre for Mental Health Care is a 315-bed academic and teaching hospital that provides specialized mental health, addiction and geriatric care. Located on the shores of Georgian Bay, we serve some of the most complex and disadvantaged individuals in Ontario and are the sole provider of high-secure forensic mental health services in the province.
The Director of Health Systems Integration is currently seeking a Temporary Full Time Partnership Coordinator. The Health System Integration (HSI) department is responsible for supporting the development and maintenance of cross-sector partnerships and the execution of system integration and improvement opportunities and projects. These projects and opportunities include (but are not limited to) integrated pathways of care, coordinated access for mental health and addictions, and supporting the delivery of services to those who are homeless/marginally housed.
The Partnership Coordinator supports the successful execution of projects, focusing on strategic oversight, contract deliverables, and collaboration with regional service providers. This role supports collective training opportunities and quality improvement initiatives by managing project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder engagement. The Partnership Coordinator will play a coordination role with respect to a new multi partner initiative focused on harmonizing and delivering outreach services across Simcoe County. This role will work closely with funders and external service delivery partners support relationship management, service delivery reporting and collaborative planning.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Draft and maintain project documentation, including project charters, project management plans, schedules, statistical reports, change requests, status reports, communication plans, and other necessary materials.
  • Plan, organize, and monitor project timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure alignment with funding requirements and objectives.
  • Create and execute project communication, engagement, and change management plans, ensuring effective stakeholder collaboration and information dissemination.
  • Facilitate engagement sessions, webinars, and activities to support broad stakeholder outreach.
  • Prepare and deliver progress reports, statistical / performance metric reports, and presentations for executives, sponsors, partners and project teams.
  • Serve as a liaison between departments, stakeholders, and users to manage expectations, address concerns, and ensure project goals are met.
  • Develop communication and marketing materials to advance project objectives and maintain alignment with organizational standards.
  • Monitor daily project progress, maintain documentation, and contribute to lessons learned archives.
  • Support regular partner governance/ executive leadership tables.
  • Support opportunities for improvement with respect to clinical service delivery.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a healthcare, business field required
  • Member of a regulated Health Care profession preferred
  • 3-5 years project management coordinator experience required
  • Results oriented work ethic to work independently and undertake tasks needed to accomplish work objectives and deliver quality, consistent and timely results
  • Demonstrated leadership, conflict resolution, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Proven written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to adapt readily to change and reflects an optimistic and positive attitude
  • Models and promotes core ethical practice, Waypoint Values (Caring, Respect, Accountability, Innovation)
  • Preference for proficiency in French/English language skills.
