Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

The Parts Administrator at Velocity Vehicle Group plays a crucial role in maintaining inventory control and ensuring efficient operations within our parts department. We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team. As a Parts Administrator, you will perform clerical duties related to inventory control, reconcile schedules and reports, and handle routine administrative paperwork. . This position also entails cashier duties, such as promptly attending to customers, processing payments, printing invoices, and maintaining customer files.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Posting invoices to the inventory control system
  • Reconciling all cash drawers
  • Generating, maintaining, and monitoring cash schedules and inter-branch cash schedules
  • Submitting parts tickets for pricing, status, and lead time
  • Generating and printing invoices
  • Managing parts orders
  • Processing returns of excess parts
  • Monitoring schedule for credit on returned excess parts
  • Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

CASHIER DUTIES:

  • Greets customers immediately in a courteous manner
  • Collects payment from customers
  • Treats customers fairly and honestly and demonstrates company’s commitment to superior customer service and ethical business practices
  • Prints invoices
  • Provides backup to reconcile credit card charges
  • Files repair orders
  • Updates customer files
  • Performs routine clerical duties, including data entry, answering telephones and assisting customers
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
