JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Parts Advisor to join our team at our BYD site in Thames Ditton
You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our parts department by maintaining accurate inventory records, communicating effectively with customers and colleagues, and providing exceptional service. This position requires strong organisational skills and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience in a parts advisory or similar role is preferred but not essential.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Proficient in using computer systems and software, particularly Excel, for data management purposes.
• A customer-focused attitude with a commitment to providing high-quality service at all times.

• Maintain accurate records of parts inventory, ensuring that stock levels are monitored and replenished as necessary.
• Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions regarding parts availability and specifications.
• Assist customers over the phone and in person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of parts and resolve any discrepancies or issues that may arise.
• Utilise Excel for tracking inventory, generating reports, and managing data efficiently.
• Provide guidance to customers on product selection, usage, and compatibility with their vehicles or equipment.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and competitor offerings to enhance customer service and sales opportunities.
