PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

• To assist the Parts Manager in ensuring the smooth and profitable operation of the Parts Department with strict adherence to the Dealership Operating Standards and Company policies and procedures.

KEY JOB COMPETENCIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

• Builds rapport and qualifies the customer’s requirements
• Co-ordinates the centre’s stock holdings to agreed standards
• Works with the Service team to deliver a quality service to customers
• Trade sales opportunities : Prospects to local trade and co-ordinates van deliveries.
• Works as a full member of the centre team.
• Provide expert advice on car parts and accessories to customers, ensuring their needs are met effectively.
• Utilize strong communication skills to assist customers in person and over the phone, maintaining excellent phone etiquette.
• Maintain organized records of sales and customer interactions using Microsoft Excel.
• Collaborate with the automotive service team to ensure timely delivery of parts and services.
• Demonstrate presentation skills during customer interactions to enhance the buying experience.
