Description

Hickman Automotive Group is looking for a Parts Advisor to join our team at our Hickman Nissan Gander location. If you are an energetic and motivated individual who is looking for growth within a family owned company, we would love to have you!

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Understands importance of excellent customer service
  • Organizational Skills
  • Ability to assist the Parts Manager in analyzing and resolving discrepancies between computer inventory and actual parts on hand
  • Ability to receive customers, establish rapport, and determine and attend to customers’ needs
  • Ability to match customers’ needs with appropriate parts or services
  • Knowledge of parts counter procedures, such as requiring prepayment for special orders, etc.
  • Ability to lift some heavy parts
  • Ability to work as a team member.

Responsibilities
  • Conducting parts sales via telephone and internet
  • Searching and supplying parts through our electronic catalogue for a variety of customers which includes retail, wholesale, as well as our service department technicians
  • Ensuring all special order parts are ordered in a timely manner and notifying customers once they arrive
  • Invoicing and accepting payments from our retail and wholesale customers
  • Invoicing parts on service department repair orders
  • Proper care, stocking and attention to parts bins
  • General housekeeping duties
  • Assist with loading and unloading of freight
