POSITION OVERVIEW:

At Ontario Hyundai, the Parts Advisor is responsible for providing support in the parts department to wholesale and retail customers, as well as internal departments. The Parts Advisor will play a pivotal role in ensuring customer satisfaction, building relationships with suppliers, managing incoming and outgoing inventory, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Responsibilities
  • Sell parts to customers over the retail counter, over the phone, and via email.
  • Provide price quotes and other related parts information as needed, carrying out sales promotions as they arise
  • Facilitate parts management by ordering from manufacturers and aftermarket vendors, retrieving and stocking items, processing returns, and maintaining accurate inventory to ensure technicians have timely access to required parts.
  • Track and manage records by documenting and reviewing files to monitor back-orders and return-to-vendor items.
  • Foster strong retail and wholesale relationships, while maintaining positive partnerships with suppliers.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly and following established customer service guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace.
  • Support the dealership’s overall success by completing additional duties as required.
