PARTS ADVISOR - AUTOMOTIVE

Our client is actively hiring for an additional Parts advisor to join the team in Stoke.
The role will ideally suit a person with previous experience working with car or commercial parts and someone who has worked with both customers from the general public as well as from the trade.
It would also suit an individual who has experience working in the automotive sector in service with e.g. a Service Advisor background.
The role is working as part of a busy team on the parts desk and involves taking orders on the telephone as well as face-to-face therefore it is very important to possess strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
There is a great working culture within the team and the firm is known for looking after their staff very well.
The hours are 08.30 to 17.00 Monday to Friday and 1 in 3 Saturday mornings based on additional overtime rate T+1.5

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Must have experience working within a customer service environment ideally from within the automotive sector.
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Excellent administration skills
  • Computer literate in software products such as Word, Outlook etc
  • Strong listening skills, able to listen to customers needs.
  • Approachable
  • Enthusiastic
  • Strive to ensure customer satisfaction at all times
