Description
Operational Assist technicians and engineers in accurately identifying and determining required spare part numbers using technical catalogs. Use computerized systems to prepare, process, and deliver spare parts requests and quotations efficiently. Create and issue workshop quotations accurately and within required timelines. Ensure correct pricing of workshop spare parts requests before approval and processing. Deliver the correct spare parts to the workshop on time, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Immediately follow up on urgent or reserved items to ensure timely delivery. Coordination & Procurement Coordinate spare parts requests from the workshop and forward them to the Procurement Team. Follow up on purchase orders and monitor arrival status of spare parts. Inform the workshop of order status updates and expected delivery timelines. Prioritize orders with the Procurement Team based on operational urgency. Determine appropriate shipping methods in coordination with Procurement and Workshop teams. Review procurement reports related to spare parts requests and ensure proper communication flow. Warehouse & Internal Process Supervise proper coordination and workflow inside the spare parts warehouse. Ensure accurate handling, labeling, and storage of spare parts. Monitor spare parts movement and maintain updated records. Ensure correct and documented delivery of spare parts to the workshop. Requirements Education Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field. Technical diploma in automotive or spare parts management is acceptable for experienced candidates Technical Ability to read and interpret spare parts catalogs and technical diagrams. Proficient in ERP systems, inventory systems, and quotation preparation tools. Strong pricing accuracy and documentation skills. Strong knowledge of automotive spare parts systems and technical catalogs. Understanding of workshop operations and parts identification processes. Management & Coordination Effective coordination with workshop, procurement, and warehouse teams. Ability to prioritize orders and manage urgent requests efficiently. Strong follow-up skills to ensure timely delivery and process flow. Personal & Interpersonal High attention to detail and accuracy. Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical teams.
