We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong automotive background and experience in various maintenance tasks, ensuring that all equipment and facilities are in optimal working condition. This role is crucial for maintaining operational efficiency and providing excellent service to our internal teams and customers.

SKILLS

  • Proven dealership experience is preferred but not required.
  • Strong automotive knowledge with hands-on experience.
  • Proficient in CRM systems for managing inventory and procurement processes.
  • Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail for maintaining accurate records.
  • Ability to effectively plan demand for maintenance supplies through strategic sourcing and supply chain management.
  • Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with vendors and suppliers.

  • Keeping an organized and efficient workspace, including participating in cleanup of all areas on the property and in servitude of shop technicians to maintain cleanliness between repair jobs.
  • Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and materials, including purchasing and procurement tasks.
  • Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and maintenance schedules.
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities without disrupting operations.
  • Assist in sourcing parts and materials needed for repairs, demonstrating effective negotiation skills with suppliers.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing maintenance-related inquiries from staff and management.
  • Maintain accurate data entry records related to maintenance activities, inventory levels, and equipment performance.
  • Maintain an organized storage and retrieval system for incoming parts to be organized and distributed to technicians for jobs in progress.
