Description Job Summary: The Parts and Service Assistant at RV Value Mart plays a critical role in supporting both the Service and Parts departments. This position ensures technicians have the correct parts when needed, assists customers with repair and parts transactions, and helps maintain an organized, accurate inventory system. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced RV dealership environment. Supervisory Responsibilities: None Duties/Responsibilities: Service Support Duties Pull and stage all required parts for technicians in a timely and accurate manner. Work closely with Service Writers and Service Manager to stay informed on current and upcoming service units. Coordinate directly with technicians so all parts requests and needs flow through this role. Run for parts and supplies to vendors such as EM Herr, Lowe’s, Harbor Freight, and others as needed. Cashier repair orders for customers picking up units when required. Create repair orders for customers dropping off units for service. Parts Department Duties Check in and receive special order parts accurately. Work closely with the Parts Team to ensure the correct parts are ordered for all repair orders. Assist with verifying inventory accuracy and correct pricing. Help arrange and rearrange parts and bins to improve organization and efficiency. Put away stock and special orders, label parts clearly, and note locations in DMS system. Create and cashier parts invoices for customers. Requirements Qualifications: Strong attention to detail and organization. Good communication skills and ability to work closely with technicians, service writers, and parts staff. Basic computer skills and ability to learn dealership software. Valid driver’s license. Prior experience in parts, service, automotive, RV, or warehouse environments is a plus but not required. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and climb steps throughout the day. Able to lift and move heavy parts. Able to lift 50 lbs without assistance. Comfortable and capable of operating a forklift (certification or willingness to obtain preferred).
