Job Details Job Location: SSI-Richmond - Richmond, VA 23227 Position Type: Full Time Duties/Responsibilities: Generates sales quotes to customers for equipment & generator parts, service, rentals, and rebuilds on all Taylor generator makes and models. Quotes services in the field and works with all customer relations. Develop new customers in assigned territory while maintaining current accounts. Attending and working industry tradeshows and conferences to strengthen the company brand and develop customer relationships. Create and implement strategies for equipment & generator service and rental growth. Also, work closely with the Taylor Power System sales rep to develop a relationship with their customers to gain service opportunities. Work with other Sales Representatives for regional customers & business growth strategies unique to the territory customer base. Incumbent is to provide a detailed call report to the Sudden Service Manager weekly to discuss customer concerns and demands in the field. Maintains and submits accurate and timely expense reports to Service Center Manager. Maintain & build customer business upon the territory including Richmond, VA, Fairfax, VA and surrounding areas. All other duties as assigned. Qualifications Required Skills/Abilities: Basic knowledge of computers Excellent communication skills Possess tact and diplomacy with customer base and peers. Incumbent must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record, since employee will be driving company owned vehicle and will be covered under corporate insurance which has strict coverage requirements. Incumbents will be required on occasion to stay overnight at out-of-town locations. Education and Experience: High School Education or GED equivalent Sales Parts/Service experience a must.
