The Parts and Service Specialist role will be responsible for supporting the service technician in the field. Key Duties and Responsibilities: * Responsible for the sourcing, quoting, and ordering parts necessary for the customer in support of the service technician field calls. * If necessary, create part numbers for new parts in the ERP system. Review all part numbers created by the branches to reduce duplicate parts numbers. . * Notify service techs when parts arrive, ship them to assigned locations. * Schedule service technician’s customer visits to maximize number of visits per pay. This includes scheduled PM’s, installations, and ad hoc customer requested repairs. * Maintain service calendar, customer machine schematics, and run service reports in coordination with the Service Manager. * Enter service reports and invoice customers for parts purchased and service performed. * Handle parts returns, vendor RMAs, and warranty claims on parts and machines. * Monitor and process parts invoices as needed. * Provide back up support to the branch managers for PO approval process in their absence. * Other tasks as assigned Education and/or Experience: * Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field desired. * Five years of related experience preferred. * Knowledge of machine parts and machine repair services. * Experienced in Lean Six Sigma. Competencies: * Excellent written and verbal communication skill * Ability to solve problems using a structured approach * Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail * Proficient computer skills including MS Office Suite and TEAMS/Sharepoint Work Environment: * Warehouse environment, not climate controlled. * Office environment, climate controlled * Noise level in this work environment is usually moderate Why work at Associated Packaging, Inc.?
