Description
The Parts & Supply Coordinator is responsible for worldwide sourcing and purchasing of parts and supplies. Duties and Responsibilities Processing of Purchase Orders Purchasing and maintaining adequate inventory of office and building maintenance supplies Evaluate usage of office and building supplies to establish appropriate reorder levels Tagging of inventory and handling of the put away process for parts and supplies Daily inventory tag adjustments Assist production employees with identifying and locating parts in the Parts Area Update status of arrival once receive confirmation on open purchase orders Assist in finding and qualifying suppliers that meet our quality standards Research discrepancies between purchase orders and vendor invoices Update Vendor and Item Record when deemed necessary Review inbound freight bills to ensure vendor shipped per PO instructions Coordinate rejected material returns Work with multiple departments to ensure correct parts and materials are on hand Perform routine inventory cycle counts Tagging and putting away returned parts from production Organize and maintain inventory of various parts and material Provide back-up in purchasing both Parts and Raw Materials if deemed necessary Various clerical duties Other duties as assigned Previous purchasing experience preferred Previous experience with inventory management preferred Two-year degree preferred Professional communication skills (verbal, written and phone) Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook Works in an office and production environment Must have the ability to use hands, fingers, and arms with upper and lower body mobility Frequently stand, stoop, bend, and reach above shoulder height The employee will regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds.
