PARTS ASSISTANT
The Vella Group is a well-established accident repair specialist with over 30 years of experience, helping people get their vehicles back on the road after an accident. We pride ourselves on providing a quality service which has resulted in our success and growth.
· Receive goods in, check the parts are correct for the repair and ensure there is no damage.
· Check the invoice and upload it onto the company’s database against the job.
· Locate parts, allocate job numbers, and shelve correctly.
· Manage parts awaiting return and ensure credits are issued.
· Liaise with suppliers regarding any issues (delays, faults etc.) and identify correct replacement parts if required.
· Ensure that the Production Manager is kept up to date with ETAs of parts and any issues are raised accordingly.
· Stock control - maintain and control dry stock.
· Assist with customer service as and when required.
· Taking images of vehicles for the Vehicle Damage Assessor as well as assisting with any other duties.
