What You'll Do All Day Assist walk-in customers with parts purchases and provide knowledge and expertise regarding our products. Place orders for parts paying close attention to detail to ensure the order is accurate and complete. Take service technicians' orders for parts and fill them to meet work order time requirements. Recommend related parts and accessories, which may be required for a job. Notify service department when special parts or back-ordered parts are received. Document and submit special order requests. Follow-up with customers on parts order status. Pull stocked and special-order parts for customer sale. Work with Parts Manager as needed to locate parts and on specialty orders and requests. Take customer orders via phone, computer and in person. Complete sale of parts by entering sales into system. Maintain and update inventory control systems to replenish stock when needed. Restock inventory when new shipments arrive. Maintain a safe, clean and secure work environment. Supply cost of parts information on repair orders. Requirements Must-haves to qualify 1-2 years’ experience in parts or service, preferably in construction equipment, automotive or truck industry. Communicate effectively with technicians and customers to understand their needs and meet their requests. Strong computer and data entry skills. Demonstrate strong customer service skills in-person and by telephone Ability to pass a criminal background screening The physical stuff Ability to lift up 60 lbs. Ability to stand for long periods of time, reach, crouch, bend, type and other related physical demands. Important stuff to know Highly Sought After Schedule: Full Time | 42.5 hours per week | Monday – Friday, 7:30 am - 4:30 pm | No weekends!
