Description The Opportunity: Parts Associate – Saginaw, Michigan Full time Could this be you? The Parts Associate will work within the Parts Department at our Saginaw location assisting with ordering and managing parts for equipment and trucks, along with providing a high level of external and internal customer satisfaction. This position will need to maximize part sales, inventory control, and control expenses. Attracts, retains, and effectively engages Department personnel. In this role you will: • Provide/source parts personnel with limited or hard to find parts are requested • Maintain an accurate and effective parts inventory control system • Create purchase orders to buy necessary parts for stock, customers, or work orders • Take inventory of stock and replenish, or purge, when needed according to the parts usage reports • Assist in keeping the Parts Department clean and orderly • Provide Mechanics with parts as requested – will required driving requested parts to all DHT locations • Maintain positive relationships with outside vendors, customers, and employees • Delegate daily tasks efficiently and appropriately to Parts personnel Compensation Package (full time): • Pet Insurance • 401K with Partial Employer Match • Healthcare Insurance (Medical, Vision, Dental) • Short-term & Long-term disability • Paid Vacation • Life Insurance • Legal Shield & ID Theft Protection • Health Savings Account Requirements What you need: • 1+ years of applicable experience • Must be organized • Must be able to use Windows-based programs and be able to learn/understand our business management software • Must have acceptable MVR • Must be able to list a minimum of 50 pounds • Possess the stamina to stand for extended periods of time • Possess the ability to climb ladders and reach merchandise regularly
