We design and build backup power packages (to include tanks and enclosures) for large and small health, industrial, and technology-oriented businesses that cannot have a power lapse at any time. Position Summary: The parts clerk is responsible for accurately receiving of parts and raw materials, completing daily, monthly, and yearly inventory and the monitoring of each department’s needs. They may also be required to handle various purchasing issues working with our purchasing dept. Essential Functions: Receiving and stocking inventory Entering inventory Pulling parts / Delivering inventory to appropriate departments. Requirements Qualifications: 1.1. Find and locate parts within the parts cage. 1.2. Identify certain parts. 1.3. Read a Bill of Materials. 1.4. Identify the different departments on a BOM. 1.5. Pull parts from a BOM. 1.6. Start understanding where parts and Bins are located. 1.7. Pull a BOM properly and fully. 1.8. Receive stock and place it back on shelf. 1.9. Sign material out. 1.10. Stock material on department shelves. 1.11. Handle FIDWIP parts (Fidelity work in progress). 1.12. Start to understand differences in parts. 1.13. Be able to look and find material on their own. 1.14. Be knowledgeable as to the differences between parts. 1.15. Be able to help problem solve with mechanics. 1.16. Be able to know what material is in each department. 1.17. Know where the different departments are located inside of the office. 1.18. Know where bins and job materials are located.
Responsibilities
The parts clerk is responsible for accurately receiving parts and raw materials, completing inventory tasks, and monitoring departmental needs. They will also handle purchasing issues in collaboration with the purchasing department.
