Description Our dealership is looking for a knowledgeable Parts Consultant to join our team. In this role, your primary job is to maintain our in-store inventory based on the most common service needs of our customers, and order out-of-stock items through our wholesale suppliers as needed. You provide estimates on the cost of parts to customers before ordering them and complete detailed purchase orders so that we can reconcile our accounts with external suppliers once the parts are delivered. Our ideal candidate has experience with automotive repair and a working understanding of various vehicle components. Duties and Responsibilities Help maintain our parts inventory Locate parts using our computer system Order out-of-stock items Provide cost estimates to potential customers Issue purchase orders to external suppliers Assist with invoicing and payment processing Requirements and Qualifications Industry experience (preferred) Mechanical knowledge or repair experience a plus Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
