Requirements OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY: The Parts Coordinator is responsible for managing and maintaining parts outages. Works with production to ensure all parts flow in a world class manner that is consistent with the company values and operating philosophy. The Parts Coordinator will monitor the Kanban system and cut/create any MO’s(manufacturing orders) that are needed. Will perform cycle counts on a regular basis to maintain accurate Inventory levels. ACCOUNTABILITIES: Outage Tracking- Maintain the outage tracking spreadsheet and dive into route cause analysis on outages. Cycle Counting – Perform Regular cycle counts identified by the Inventory Manager. Report on inventory discrepancies. Point of Contact for production – Dive into parts issues that include Bill of Material issues, manufacturing order issues, and general kitting issues. Kanban System – Manual ordering system for certain parts. The Parts Coordinator will be responsible to maintain this system and create manufacturing orders when needed. QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Certifications and Required Experience): Minimum 2 years’ experience in related position Experience in Microsoft office applications Valid Drivers License DEMONSTRATED CRITICAL COMPETENCIES: Accountability - Takes personal responsibility for the quality and timeliness of work and achieves results with little oversight. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Bending/Stooping – Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist. Full motion of the body, lower extremities and back muscles Carrying – Extending hands and arms while carrying weight Light Work- occasional exertion of 20 pounds or less. Moderate walking, standing and sitting. Repetitive Motion – Substantial movement/motion of the wrists hands and or fingers. Sitting – The body is supported by the buttocks and back and employee needs to remain seated for extended periods of time. Vision (option 1) – close visual acuity to perform and activity such as analyzing data, viewing a computer terminal, inspection involving small defects or welds, use and operation of machines, use of measurement devices, etc. Vision (option2) – Visual acuity is required to view a computer terminal or operate mechanical or skilled trades Walking- Moving about on foot to travel and accomplish tasks, including long distances or site to site.
