REQUIREMENTS, QUALIFICATIONS AND CHARACTERISTICS:

  • Good organizational skills with attention to detail a must.
  • Vehicle preferred in order to pick up parts locally
  • Works well independently and minimum supervision.
  • Internal customer service attitude/orientation is important.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills are important.
  • Good Excel skills and computer literacy is a must
  • Strong sense of urgency.
  • Able to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Due to a large variety of job duties (both routine and non-routine), certain duties also may involve, a variety of physical activities including bending, lifting, stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms above shoulders and head, standing, working in enclosed areas, climbing stairs or ladders.
Responsibilities
  • Control of inventory: minimum and maximum parts count.
  • Prep and release parts for assigned work order or Emergency requests.
  • Organized and maintain parts cage and parts areas.
  • Keep parts cage clean and organized.
  • Must be able to work without close supervision.
  • Generate all new part inventory tags.
  • Help labeling assets.
  • Check in all shipments and compare to all packing slips.
  • Maintain a computerized inventory system.
  • Assist with unloading and moving maintenance items delivered to the receiving department.
  • Data entry of parts and preventative maintenance tasks into software.
  • Notify others when parts are received.
  • This person will report directly to the maintenance supervisor or Maintenance lead.
  • Pick up parts locally from vendors
