PARTS COUNTER SALESPERSON Pay: $125.00 per hour + Commission JOIN OUR TEAM! We are looking for a customer-focused Parts Counter Salesperson to join our team. In this role, you'll assist retail and service customers in identifying and purchasing the correct automotive parts while delivering outstanding customer service. If you're organized, knowledgeable about automotive parts, and enjoy working in a fast-paced dealership environment, we'd love to hear from you. WHAT YOU'LL DO * Assist customers in locating and purchasing the correct automotive parts. * Answer incoming phone calls and process parts orders. * Fill customer and service department parts requests from inventory or by special order. * Research part numbers, availability, and pricing using electronic catalogs and dealership systems. * Prepare invoices, sales slips, and related paperwork. * Process payments and obtain credit authorizations as needed. * Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory counts. * Receive, stock, and issue parts, equipment, and maintenance supplies. * Sell automotive parts, accessories, and aftermarket products. * Pick up incoming inventory or deliver parts between dealership locations when necessary. * Maintain a clean, organized, and professional parts department. * Provide courteous, respectful service to customers and coworkers. * Follow all company policies, including safety, non-discrimination, and harassment policies. * Perform additional duties as assigned. VEHICLE RESPONSIBILITIES As part of this position, you may: * Move new and used vehicles. * Demonstrate vehicles to customers when needed. * Reposition inventory on the dealership lot. * Perform other driving duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS * Excellent customer service and communication skills. * Basic computer skills and the ability to learn dealership software. * Automotive parts knowledge preferred. * Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. * Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS This position requires the ability to: * Stand, walk, and sit throughout the workday. * Frequently push and pull equipment. * Lift up to 45 pounds and carry up to 25 pounds. * Bend, kneel, crouch, reach, twist, climb, and handle parts and equipment as needed. WORK ENVIRONMENT This position is performed in a dealership and parts department environment with exposure to: * Indoor and outdoor weather conditions * Dust, fumes, odors, mist, and gases * Noise and vibration from shop equipment, power tools, machinery, and vehicle engines Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position.
