Job Details Level: Experienced Job Location: AOS - Seattle, WA Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: Undisclosed Acura of Seattle - Parts Counter Acura of Seattle, a dealership part of the O’Brien Auto Group is currently accepting applications for a Full-Time Parts Counterperson to join our team in the Parts Department. This position pays $16.28 per hour plus 1.2% of Acura of Seattle's "Total Parts & Access" monthly gross profit. All employees subject to eligibility requirements, we offer the following benefits: Paid holidays pursuant to the annual holiday calendar (typically five holidays) Vacation – based on hire date and paid based on position. Responsibilities to include: Back counter parts. Front counter part sales. Call on all special-order parts for prompt installation or pick up. Pre-pull all service for technician. Inventory control. Process all damage claims. Process all warranty exchanges. Removal of all paid warranty parts. Removal of all damage parts. Oversee technician for proper tags on warranty parts. Answer all incoming calls. Regular checks on special order bins for old age parts. Input daily orders. Promote internal sales. Assist in obsolesces return (5%). Track lost sales Department clean up. Perform all duties assign by manager. Regular attendance is essential. Work in cooperative, positive & professional manner with all personnel in the company. Treat members of the public and customers in a courteous and non-discriminatory manner. Maintain professional demeanor while at work. Must conform to company policy regarding non-discrimination and harassment. Preferred Qualifications: Proficiency with computers and ability to read parts diagrams General automotive knowledge with ability to identify car parts. Experience with auto part sales preferred but not required. Previous retail sales or customer service experience preferred but not required. Ability to communicate suitably through email, phone, or in person A desire and drive to be successful with a positive attitude Must be able to provide high levels of customer service in a fast-paced environment obtaining the correct parts requirements for each vehicle and job; accurately pulling and delivering items to technicians and outside customers. Previous dealership parts experience is preferred. Equipment/Machines/Tools Typically Used: Computer, calculator, phone, adding machine, copy machine, pens/pencils, stapler, scissors, letter opener, and fax machine. Chemicals: Numerous chemicals are used/handled on a frequent basis. Employee will be trained by their supervisor on the safe handling/use of these substances. Employee will follow all safety directives at all times. Physical Demands: Intermittent standing, walking, sitting, stooping, kneeling, and crouching; frequent twisting and turning of the trunk, reaching, handling of objects; lifting of 100 lbs or less and carrying of 50 lbs or less; occasional pushing, pulling, climbing, and balancing.
