Experience is preferred, but not a requirement. We will train those that are eager to learn and show initiative and attentiveness and have a Parts Manager with over 30 years of Ford parts experience to show you the ropes and for the right person one day pass the torch! There is weekend availability as well as additional weekly hours available if customer demand levels allow for it.
The PARTS COUNTERPERSON focuses on assisting customers effectively and efficiently at the counter, by telephone, and via email - ensuring customer satisfaction, profitability, and continued growth of the department through great service and relationship building.
Other responsibilities include supplying parts estimates and parts to the technicians in the service department with a focus on accuracy and speed to continue to improve customer satisfaction by getting customers vehicles fixed properly in a timely manner.
The position is also involved with ordering part, inventory control, and looking after cleanliness and efficiency of the Parts department. Your attention to detail will be invaluable.

Responsibilities
  • Assist Customers with purchases of parts.
  • Assist Technicians with parts estimates and providing parts for vehicle repairs when required.
  • Utilize software to record all parts entries and transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Contact customers when parts orders arrive.
  • Order parts for stock and special order parts for customers and repairs.
  • Receipt delivered parts, return excess or unsold parts, dispose of used parts.
  • Organize parts in pre-determined locations for ease of accessibility when required.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the Parts Department.
  • Collect payment of parts, and follow up on all overdue accounts.
  • Performing physical inventory checks periodically including a year end.
  • Other tasks as required by management.
    Pay will be discussed based on the candidate, experience, and suitability for the position.

    Pay: $40,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
