Description COME JOIN OUR TEAM AT REEFER PETERBILT Reefer Peterbilt is a second-generation family-owned heavy-duty truck dealership looking for a Full-Time Parts Counter Sales Associate in Bay City, MI. The Parts Counter Associate participates in our retail parts sales and warehouse operations. The goal is to provide exceptional customer service at all times. The primary responsibility is to accurately and timely provide internal and external customers with their parts needs and serve as warehouse back up and additional support. This is a non-exempt position. Responsibilities: Assist retail and wholesale parts customers promptly and professionally Use computer software to issue, return, process parts orders and track orders for parts not in stock to fill orders efficiently and accurately Maintain retail displays by ensuring fully stocked shelves, periodically rotating inventory and locations, and using customer facing signage and promotional materials Move, stock, sort and organize inventory and materials throughout the store / warehouse and place in proper location Report damaged or missing inventory to appropriate personnel and conduct periodic inventory audits Handle and operate necessary tools and accessories to maintain and manage a warehouse, including, but not limited to a hand jack and hi-lo Ensure workspace is free of debris and remove safety hazards Keep warehouse and showroom premises neat and clean Perform other duties as assigned Requirements Qualifications: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, some college a preferred At least 1-2 years experience working on the counter in automotive industry Able to communicate effectively with customers by telephone, email, and in person Proven working experience in a Warehouse Proficiency in inventory software, databases and systems Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods, including prior knowledge of cycle counting and inventory control Good organizational and time management skills Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Must be willing to learn to operate a forklift as needed Must pass pre-employment physical, drug screen and background check Pay & Schedule: $23/hour - $30.00 based on experience Monday – Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, Saturday rotation 8:00 am - 12:00 pm Job Type: Full- Time Work Location: In person Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short Term Disability, Accident Insurance, Critical Illness 72 PTO hours available at the time of hire 6 paid holidays 401K plan with company participation Weekly pay schedule An individual in this position must be able to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities listed above.
