When you build your career at GTG Peterbilt, you make a commitment to being the very best in the business. We have an opening for an experienced, second shift Parts Counter Specialist in Wichita, KS. The Parts Counter Specialist provides expert support to customers and internal teams by identifying, sourcing, and supplying the correct parts for heavy-duty trucks. This position has a Monday-Friday schedule with the hours of 3:00 pm - midnight. Requirements Assist mechanics and customers with acquiring parts. Locate parts mechanics might need to finish job. Answer customer questions, provide price quotes in-person and over the phone. Sell parts to help achieve sales goal. Stock shelves on display and in warehouse. Pull customer orders. Maintain inventory, cycle count inventory, assist with core returns. Qualifications: Excellent customer service. Self-starter, maintain positive attitude. Automotive or truck part related experience a plus not required. Multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Communicate updates to internal and external customers. Mechanical knowledge a must. Ability to lift 50 pounds. Education: Intermediate computer skills. High school or equivalent preferred. Combination of education, training, or experience providing the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Required experience: Sales/Customer Service 1 year Automotive or Truck Parts 1 year Benefits: Competitive salary and benefits package.
