REQUIREMENTS

  • Two years of experience preferred
  • CDK experience preferred
  • Adequate time management skills
  • Great communication skills
  • Clean driving record
  • Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check & drug screen

Responsibilities
  • Communication with customers on parts status
  • Communication with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Be able to read and understand the parts catalog when looking up parts
  • Answer phone calls, providing price quotes and other information
  • Reviews body shop estimates to be sure the parts that ordered are correct and pricing is in line with the estimate
  • Locates out-of-stock parts from outside source and submits an emergency order, if necessary
  • Making sure all internal requests for parts are billed on a service repair order
  • Tracking all incoming and outgoing parts for the dealership
  • Handling parts payment collection and making sure all parts are billed correctly through the service department
  • Packaging and shipping parts back to the manufacturer from time to time, and completing the appropriate record keeping.
  • Referring to parts manuals (both hard copy and electronic format) to identify exactly the right part(s) for the make, model and year of vehicles being serviced.
  • Advise customer on substitution or modification of part when replacement is not available.
