Description We are currently seeking an experienced and customer-oriented Automotive Parts Counter Person to join our team. As an Automotive Parts Counter Person, you will be responsible for assisting customers in finding and purchasing the right automotive parts for their vehicles. Your knowledge of automotive parts, excellent communication skills, and ability to provide exceptional customer service will be crucial in this role. Responsibilities: Greet customers and assist them in identifying their automotive parts needs. Provide accurate and detailed information about various automotive parts, including availability, compatibility, and pricing. Retrieve automotive parts from inventory or order them from suppliers as needed. Maintain a clean and organized parts counter area. Process customer orders and handle cash transactions. Collaborate with technicians and service advisors to ensure accurate parts selection for repairs and maintenance. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns in a professional and timely manner. Keep up-to-date with the latest automotive products, trends, and industry developments. Use computerized systems to locate and track parts inventory. Requirements High school diploma or GED equivalent. Must have a minimum of 3 years experience General Motors is a plus! Solid knowledge of automotive parts and their functions. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities. Proficient computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Physical ability to lift heavy parts and stand for extended periods. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Must be able to pass a criminal background check and a drug test.
