Description Now Hiring: Parts Counter Person Preston Automotive Group Brand-New Ford Pro Elite Facility | Pittsville, Maryland Preston Automotive Group is excited to announce the upcoming opening of our brand-new Ford Pro Elite building, located right next to our Ford dealership in Pittsville, MD, and we’re looking for a motivated Parts Counter Person to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity to be part of a state-of-the-art facility from day one, supporting Ford Pro commercial customers with the parts and service they rely on to keep their businesses moving. Requirements Position Responsibilities: Assist technicians, service advisors, and customers at the parts counter in a timely and professional manner Accurately identify, quote, and distribute Ford parts for retail, wholesale, and commercial repair orders Support Ford Pro and Commercial customers by ensuring quick turnaround and prioritization when needed Process parts orders, special orders, returns, and credits accurately Maintain proper documentation for parts issued on repair orders Work closely with service, warranty, and commercial teams to ensure repair orders are closed efficiently Maintain inventory accuracy, including stocking, binning, and cycle counts Receive, verify, and stock incoming parts shipments Handle core returns and warranty-related parts procedures Maintain a clean, organized, and safe parts department Follow all dealership and manufacturer policies and procedures Position Requirements: Previous automotive parts counter experience required Ford dealership experience strongly preferred Commercial / Ford Pro experience highly desired CDK experience is a huge plus Strong knowledge of automotive parts, catalogs, and ordering processes Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to prioritize urgent repair orders and multitask effectively Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn new systems Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented What We Offer: Opportunity to work in a brand-new, state-of-the-art Ford Pro Elite facility Competitive pay based on experience Full benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off Ongoing Ford and professional training opportunities Long-term career growth with Preston Automotive Group Supportive leadership and a team-focused work environment
