Responsibilities Sell parts over the counter to counter retail customers and technicians Handle telephone parts orders called in by retail accounts Promote additional parts sales by suggesting related items, seasonal lines, and/or parts specialists Conduct regular telephone solicitation on assigned accounts Clean, revise, and update parts displays as directed Inform customers when parts specially ordered for them are received Determine correct parts numbers and “pick” parts for orders received Arrange for delivery or shipment of parts as required Prepare and cost out parts invoices Help maintain parts stock in orderly condition Assist with regular parts inventories and the selection of parts for return under parts obsolescence protection program Assist in physical re-arrangement of layout Attend group training sessions as required
Responsibilities
The Parts Counterperson will sell parts over the counter to retail customers and technicians, handle telephone orders, and promote additional parts sales. They will also maintain parts stock, assist with inventories, and ensure parts displays are updated.
