Reporting to the Parts Manager, the Parts Counterperson is responsible for selling commercial vehicle and equipment parts to customers over the counter or by phone. This is a full-time position at our Rush Truck Bus Centres of Canadalocated at 542 Main Street, Elgin, ON K0G 1E0.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma
• Six months’ experience in over-the-counter sales, preferably in a dealership or service setting environment
• Bilingualism (English-French) - French-speaking is a requirement
• Experience with SAP is an asset
• Criminal Record Check
• Driver’s Abstract

• Ensure compliance of all Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) regulations, as well as the Company’s Health and Safety Policy.
• Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up.
• Keep orderly records of all repair orders, invoices, insurance estimates, and special order parts.
• Issue credit for parts returned, ensuring that the original invoice, or its number, is available so that purchase and pricing can be verified.
• Participate in all training programs that are made available.
• Keep current on new products and product updates.
• Participate in maintaining a lost sales tracking program.
