  Job Summary Parts Delivery Drivers are the front-line employees representing Southport Truck to most of our customers. The job is focused on 3 key areas: verifying and delivering parts, collecting payment when indicated, and picking up parts returns from customers. Essential Duties  * Verifying and labeling orders for delivery to customers. * Loading vehicle with parts securely to ensure safety and access to parts according to order of stops. * Drive safely utilizing GPS and obeying all laws and rules of the road. * Deliver parts to customers utilizing tablet to document delivery and take Proof of Delivery photo. * Pickup returns from customers and document all required information. * Handle and process payments from customers as indicated. * Build and develop relationships with customers to help drive growth. * Assist in Parts Department as needed. * Pull customer orders as needed. * Pickup parts from vendors. * Follow all safety guidelines. * Other duties and tasks, as assigned. Qualifications  * Must be willing and able to sit for long periods. * Must be willing and able to lift up to 50lbs throughout shift. * Must be willing and able to turn, pivot, step up, and step down. * Must be willing and able to walk 3+ miles a shift. * High school diploma or general education diploma (GED). * Must possess a current and valid driver license with a driving record meeting guidelines set forth by the company's insurance carrier. * Computer literate with the willingness to learn the software programs utilized by the Company.
Responsibilities
The primary duties involve verifying and delivering parts to customers, collecting payments when required, and picking up customer returns while acting as a front-line representative for the company. Essential tasks also include safely loading the vehicle, documenting deliveries via tablet, and assisting the Parts Department as needed.
