Description Job Title: Delivery Driver Department: Operations Reports to: Branch Manager FLSA Status: Non-Exempt The delivery drivers are responsible for providing excellent customer service through the safe and efficient delivery of parts and products to our customers using a company provided vehicle. Responsibilities Safely deliver auto/truck parts to customer in company vehicle. Maintain a positive attitude and deliver unparalleled customer service. Check outgoing deliveries for accuracy before being delivered. Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures. Ensure efficient deliveries by quality checking orders that ultimately gets our products in the hands of our customers. Responsible for the cleanliness and standard maintenance of delivery vehicles as well as observing company safety procedures. Report any malfunctions of company vehicles immediately. May assist warehouse associates with pulling orders, loading orders, cleaning, and other miscellaneous tasks. Stocking products, loading products for shipping, and order selection within the warehouse. Stock product from vendors, store returns, and warehouse transfers. Organize schedule of deliveries to maximize efficiency and post schedule to make available for contact. Utilize Company software/technology to record deliveries, returns, and pickups and optimize routing. Perform additional duties as assigned. Physical Demands and Working Conditions Exerting up to 75 pounds of force repetitively and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Able to push/pull up to 300 lbs using mechanical aids, such as hand trucks, barrel dollies, hydraulic lifts, etc. Bending, twisting, squatting, climbing, pushing, pulling, stooping, crouching, reaching, standing, walking and moving at a quick speed of pace are required. Talking, hearing, and seeing with close visual acuity are frequently required. Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Must be at least 18 and have a valid driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR) per department standards. Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug test, and pre-employment background check. Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise. Excellent customer service skills. Requirements Education and Experience A high school diploma and/or GED is required. Basic computer skills
