Description

We are looking for a Parts Driver who is enthusiastic, is responsible for the pick-up and delivery of parts, components, service parts from our vendors and to our customers while maintaining ahigh level of customer service.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Able to lift 50-75 lbs - Lifting merchandise for deliveries and pick ups
  • Required: certified safety shoes
  • Knowledge of Edmonton and surrounding area
  • How to load and unload materials
  • Experience tying down with chains and straps
  • Operate forklift and 1-ton truck
  • Effectively adapt to changing priorities
  • Positive, friendly, and professional
  • Previous delivery experiences an asset
    Hayworth Equipment Sales is a heavy truck and trailer dealer in Acheson Industrial Area, providing trailer & truck sales, service, parts, rentals, and financing to a wide range of resource and transportation companies.
    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
    Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 40 per week

Responsibilities
  • Pick-up parts from vendors utilizing the company truck
  • Verifying parts being picked up are accurately on the lading and/or invoice
  • Maintain a daily log to record all deliveries/pickups made
  • Deliver parts to customers with efficient and friendly service
  • Safely operate forklift to load and unload shipments
  • On-load/Off-load equipment and materials
  • Inspect the company vehicle daily and report any necessary repairs required
  • Assist in parts stocking, inventory control and department maintenance
