We’re looking for a full-time Parts Driver/Shipper/Receiver to join our busy growing team. If you love dealing with the public, have great people skills and enjoy working in a friendly environment, then you need to join the Stony Plain Chrysler team where we treat our customers and employees like family. This is a full-time position; hours will be 7:30-4 Monday to Friday and rotating Saturdays 8-3.

Requirements and responsibilities:

• Drive company vehicle to deliver automotive parts and accessories to customers in a safe and timely manner
• Maintain daily vehicle logs
• Coordinate deliveries from the store to the customer
• Assist in shipping/receiving, picking/stocking, and maintaining inventory when not driving
• Maintaining order integrity by verifying parts being delivered are accurately captured on the invoice
• Spot check inventory for accuracy
• Work with counter staff to ensure seamless customer service for customers
• Communicate with customers regarding order status
• Working as part of a team, providing excellent customer service internally
• Valid driver’s license
• Clean drivers abstract with safe driving habits and adherence to Alberta driving laws
• Safely and conscientiously perform job duties as a representative of Stony Plain Chrysler
• Customer oriented
• Must be self-motivated
• High school diploma
• Desire to learn new skills
• Desire to work in the automotive industry with the possibility for parts apprenticeship
• Ability to work weekends

• Stony Plain, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

• parts driver: 1 year (preferred)
• shipping & receiving: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Class 5 Driver’s License (required)
