PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES * Deliver parts (often automotive or mechanical) to customers, shops, or job sites * Pick up parts from suppliers or other locations * Verify orders before delivery (correct items, quantities) * Load and unload items safely * Maintain delivery schedules and routes * Collect payments or obtain delivery signatures when required * Communicate with dispatchers, warehouse staff, or customers * Keep records of deliveries and receipts ---------------------------------------- DAILY TASKS * Check delivery orders at the start of the shift * Plan or follow assigned routes * Inspect vehicle (fuel, tires, basic safety) * Drive to multiple stops throughout the day * Handle paperwork or digital logs ---------------------------------------- REQUIRED SKILLS * Good driving record and valid driver’s license * Time management and reliability * Basic organization skills * Customer service skills (you’ll interact with clients often) * Ability to lift and carry parts (sometimes 20–50 lbs or more) ---------------------------------------- PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * Knowledge of automotive parts * Experience with delivery driving or warehouse work * Familiarity with GPS/navigation apps ---------------------------------------- WORK ENVIRONMENT * Mostly on the road driving * Some warehouse time (loading/unloading)
