Here at Dutchie Dirt-Moving we are looking to add a motivated, hard working individual with mechanical aptitude to join our team.
Dutchie Dirt-Moving Ltd. is an excavation and gravel company that primarily serves the agriculture sector in Southern Alberta. We also work together closely with our sister company, Treadstone Machinery which sells the line of Red Rhino Crushers as well as Elho Rock Pickers. We are a family-owned business that prides itself in serving our customers and providing superior service. Our shop is located near the town of Turin which is 35 minutes north of Lethbridge.
Our ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and a focus on safety. It is equally important that they be an excellent and courteous driver willing and able to represent our company values while visiting our important vendors.. There is a possibility to advance within the company after demonstrating a strong work ethic and drive. While not delivering the critical parts to keep our operation running smooth the role will involve basic yard maintenance.

JOB INCLUSIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

-Must have valid full class 5 license.
-Safely yet efficiently drive a company vehicle and flat deck trailer from Turin to Lethbridge and surrounding towns.
-Represent our company in an positive light to our many vendors.
-Deliver parts and all paperwork to the purchasing dept.
-General labour as required at the shop/yard.
-Assist in keeping the shop and yard clean.
-Able to work independently and with others.
-Willing to participate in company safety initiatives and policy.
-Reliable and punctual, as well as, dedicated and trustworthy.
-Must have the ability to reliably commute to the shop located near Turin AB.
-Strong attention to detail, quality, accuracy and safety.
-Adaptive learner with a positive attitude.
-Will be required to use repetitive motion, reach, lift, kneel, walk, and stand for several hours at a time.
Job Type: Full time
Wage per hour depends on your experience.
