The Parts Fabrication Manager is a key team member who will be responsible for overseeing all tasks related to the fabrication processes, work assignments, and supervision of employees in the Parts Department while maintaining high quality and safety standards on the wheelchair-accessible vehicle conversion parts that we produce. What you'll do: Lead day-to-day operations of the fabrication shop, including employee supervision and workflow management. Manage and schedule ingoing and outgoing parts. Organize part inventory and reorder as needed. Ensure quality control standards are met throughout all stages of fabrication. Communicate regularly with outside representatives. Promote and enforce a culture of safety adhering to all OSHA and Freedom Motors safety standards. What you’ll need: Supervisory experience and demonstrated ability to manage the Parts Department as a hands-on leader with a strong background in manufacturing, particularly in metal fabrication processes like welding, cutting, and fabricating. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Coachable with a growth mindset and a team-first attitude Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, employees, and outside vendors. Ability to learn production specifications and applications as needed. Proficient computer skills. CAD experience preferred.
