Description

Hiring: Parts Journeyperson Coastal Ford Burnaby requires a results oriented Parts Journeyperson to join our quality team. This is a full time, union position located in Burnaby, BC. A lower appointed position of Partsperson II may be considered in the event there are no qualified candidates that meet the position requirements. Principal Duties: * Assists service technicians in determining parts requirements; * Provides excellent customer service to retail, wholesale and internal customers; * Maintains accurate parts costing on invoices / repair orders; * Prepares tire quotes; * Assists with and completes parts ordering, receiving, stocking and inventory; * Collects payment for services, accurately handling cash and credit payments; * Sells additional services, parts and accessories where appropriate. Position Requirements (minimum experience): * Automotive Parts experience preferred; * Intermediate computer skills required; * Excellent phone manner required; * High School Diploma or equivalent required. Responsibilities

The Parts Journeyperson assists service technicians with parts requirements and provides excellent customer service to various client types. They are also responsible for managing inventory, processing payments, and maintaining accurate records for repair orders.
