Description:

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of MTBF and reliability metrics
  • Maintain an effective obsolete parts management program
  • Achieve established goals for parts reliability and lifecycle performance
  • Foster collaboration and communication across departments to drive lifecycle initiatives
  • Provide actionable insights to reduce costs and improve operational efficiency related to parts management.

Responsibilities:

  • MTBF Analysis: Develop and maintain Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) metrics for parts. Analyse data to identify trends and implement strategies to improve Parts and Logistics impact on customer machine reliability
  • Reliability-Centred Maintenance (RCM): Lead initiatives to establish and enhance RCM processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate RCM principles into maintenance strategies
  • Lifecycle Management Processes: Establish and document lifecycle management processes for parts, from design through obsolescence. Ensure alignment with overall product lifecycle management
  • Collaboration with Engineering: Work closely with engineering teams to provide feedback on parts design and performance. Advocate for design improvements based on lifecycle data and analytics
  • Cross-Functional Communication: Serve as a liaison between different departments to ensure alignment on parts lifecycle strategies and objectives
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilise data analytics tools to generate reports on parts performance and lifecycle metrics. Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
