Description:

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of MTBF and reliability metrics
- Maintain an effective obsolete parts management program
- Achieve established goals for parts reliability and lifecycle performance
- Foster collaboration and communication across departments to drive lifecycle initiatives
- Provide actionable insights to reduce costs and improve operational efficiency related to parts management.
Responsibilities:
- MTBF Analysis: Develop and maintain Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) metrics for parts. Analyse data to identify trends and implement strategies to improve Parts and Logistics impact on customer machine reliability
- Reliability-Centred Maintenance (RCM): Lead initiatives to establish and enhance RCM processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate RCM principles into maintenance strategies
- Lifecycle Management Processes: Establish and document lifecycle management processes for parts, from design through obsolescence. Ensure alignment with overall product lifecycle management
- Collaboration with Engineering: Work closely with engineering teams to provide feedback on parts design and performance. Advocate for design improvements based on lifecycle data and analytics
- Cross-Functional Communication: Serve as a liaison between different departments to ensure alignment on parts lifecycle strategies and objectives
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilise data analytics tools to generate reports on parts performance and lifecycle metrics. Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
