Description Summary The Parts Manager oversees the Parts Department at an FAA Part 145 Repair Station and a Bombardier Authorized Parts Depot in San Luis Obispo (KSBP). This role is critical to ensuring regulatory compliance, inventory integrity, operational efficiency, customer support, and financial performance while maintaining alignment with Bombardier, FAA, and internal quality requirements. Reports To The Parts Manager reports directly to the Vice President of Maintenance. Requirements Duties and Responsibilities Meeting financial targets for the parts department through internal and external sales, as well as appropriate purchasing, cost controls, and inventory levels. Identifying, securing, and maintaining customer and sales channel relationships to achieve financial targets. Ensuring that the parts team provides 5-star customer service to all customers, internal and external, at all times. Ensuring Compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and best practices, including but not limited to FARs, Repair Station Manual, Quality Control Manual, Traceability, Airworthiness, and internal procedures. Audit Readiness: Support FAA, customer, Bombardier, and internal audits; ensure findings are addressed promptly with documented corrective actions. Assist in the continued growth and maintenance of the Bombardier relationship while serving as the primary contact for availability, pricing, warranty, rotable exchanges, and depot performance metrics. Manage day-to-day operations of the Bombardier Authorized Parts Depot, ensuring compliance with Bombardier contractual, logistical, and reporting requirements as well as depot performance metrics. AOG & Customer Support: Ensure rapid response and fulfillment for AOG and high-priority customer requests, particularly for Bombardier business jet customers. Escalation Management: Act as the primary escalation point for parts shortages, delays, backorders, critical supply issues, and customer experience issues. Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required At least three (3) years of experience in inventory management High School Diploma or equivalent. Must have a valid CA Driver’s License with a clean record. Must be able to work as part of a team in a high-stress, fast-paced environment. Must be highly motivated and organized. Must be computer proficient (MS Office, Microsoft Excel, Corridor). Must be able to lift 25 pounds, climb, kneel, squat, and stand for extended periods. Highly Desirable Dangerous Goods, HazMat shipper training is a plus. Aviation background or interest. College degree preferred. Other This position is a DOT Safety Sensitive position, which will require placement in a random drug test pool. Pay $95,000.00 - $135,000.00 | DOE
