We are seeking a detail-oriented and team-focused Parts Manager to join our team in the Baltimore area. Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Parts Manager for our Baltimore location. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, controlling costs, and driving Parts Department profitability while working closely with the Service Department to ensure timely parts availability and minimize technician downtime. Key duties include purchasing, inventory management, pricing, vendor relations, and supporting internal service needs. The role also includes assisting with customer special orders and walk-in business. The ideal candidate is organized, results-driven, and understands the urgency of the heavy-duty truck industry. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with service technicians, vendors, and customers are essential. Establishes individual parts inventory levels and balances them for maximum turnover Works with the service manager and body shop manager to ensure a timely turnaround of parts needed for internal jobs Analyzes departmental operations and storage layout and revises as needed for maximum effectiveness Maintaining a high level of service to high priority target and fleet customers by going on site when needed to identify parts Provides technical assistance to parts department employees Providing parts to service from stock, procuring locally or creating a parts order as directed Inventory control maintenance as needed including bin checks and corrections Assisting other Branches when short-staffed Providing remote support to multiple branches Requirements 3+ years of relevant experience preferred Previous experience in truck parts, automotive parts, or a service shop environment a plus Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Procede or another Data Management System Strong communication skills for working effectively with internal teams Valid driver’s license required Schedule: Monday - Friday 8-hour shift Day shift
