POSITION SUMMARY:

The Parts Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of parts procurement, inventory, and coordination between the shop, mechanics, and vendors. This role is essential in ensuring repairs and maintenance are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner to support field operations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience in parts management, preferably in a construction or heavy equipment setting
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in inventory software and basic computer skills
  • Knowledge of heavy truck and equipment components is an asset
  • Valid driver’s license preferred

  • Audit deliveries to verify accuracy and quality
  • Coordinate closely with mechanics for repair timelines and needs
  • Communicate updates and issues with management regarding project or equipment status
  • Manage subscriptions and service agreements related to shop operations
  • Supervise daily shop activities and dispatch mechanics to job sites as needed
  • Liaise with vendors for pricing, availability, and service terms
  • Perform additional duties as required to support the efficiency of the shop
