Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Parts Manager to join our team at Carter GM Northshore, a leading GM dealership. The ideal candidate will be consistent, collaborative, and committed to fostering strong relationships with our service department, local Bodyshop’s and valued customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee daily operations of the parts department, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
  • Work closely with the service department to coordinate parts availability and support seamless vehicle repairs.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with local bodyshops and customers to drive repeat business.
  • Handle inventory management, including ordering, stocking, and tracking parts using PBS software.
  • Stay on top of inventory levels and manage obsolescence.
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Manage large fleet accounts, ensuring timely and accurate parts delivery (experience in this area is a bonus).
  • Train and supervise parts department staff to maintain high performance standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized department
  • Ensure compliance with GM standards and dealership policies.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Parts Manager, General Motors experience preferred but not mandatory
  • Proficiency in PBS software is highly preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong organizational skills and a consistent track record in managing inventory and operations.
  • Able to organize and motivate a team of employees (counter staff and drivers).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster relationships with the service team and customers.
  • Experience handling large fleet accounts is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities effectively.
  • Knowledge of automotive parts and industry trends.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or training in automotive parts management is a bonus.

Pay: $75,000.00-$130,000.00 per year
