We are looking for a Parts Manager to help support that mission. JOB SUMMARY The Parts Manager is directly responsible for the management and/or supervision of the Parts Department in its entirety as it relates to the goals of the branch and Branch Manager. Compensation for this position includes a profit-sharing plan based on branch performance. RESPONSIBILITIES Working with recruitment and HR to maintain staff levels that appropriately support customer demand Working directly with personnel to ensure proper job function performance Hire, train, supervise and mentor other Parts personnel Work with other managers to encourage cross-departmental workflow Continuously explore alternative vendors/brands to ensure competitive pricing and availability Ensuring established policies and procedures are being followed and performed accordingly Maintain and increase customer relationships Regularly review Monthly Operating Statement to measure progress to forecast, areas for improvement and staffing levels Propose SOP’s to continually improve Parts Department operations Ensure adequate inventory while minimizing excess or obsolete parts Other duties as assigned Great Benefits Highly Competitive Pay Medical, Dental, Vision & Life Insurance 401k with company match Paid Time Off Paid Certification Training Opportunity for advancement Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent required Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred Complete and maintain all factory certifications within 180 days of original date of hire 3+ years of parts experience (management preferred) with an emphasis on heavy-duty diesel trucks/equipment Excellent verbal and written communication Attention to detail and accuracy Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite WORK CONDITIONS Physical Demands/Work Environment: This position regularly requires walking, standing, sitting, stooping, bending, kneeling and climbing stairs. It also often requires pushing, pulling, twisting, lifting 50+ lbs. and working in a variety of weather conditions and noise levels.
