Description TEAM UP WITH US! The Parts Manager is responsible for all aspects of parts inventory including inventory management and ordering while remaining cost conscious. DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES? WHAT YOU'LL DO Responsible for inventory management of all parts to ensure correct mix and level of parts. Responsible for locating, ordering, assigning and general organization of parts inventory. Responsible for inside counter and phone sales and customer service Opens and closes work orders and purchase orders Responsible for shipping and receiving of parts inventory Ensure parts cost and margins are accurate Assists in the development of the annual budget for parts sales revenue and operations expenses May fill role of Plant Manager/Operations Manager during extended absence. EEO/AA #GCS Requirements WHAT YOU'LL NEED High school diploma or GED. 5-10 year parts, warehouse or inventory experience and prefer supervisory experience. General knowledge of manufacturer's parts catalogs Observes safety procedures; Reports potentially unsafe conditions; Uses equipment and materials properly. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively to customers or employees of organization. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Knowledge of MS Office and operate a Windows based computer.
