OVERVIEW

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Parts Manager to oversee the parts department within our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, sourcing parts, and ensuring that our dealership operates efficiently. This role requires strong negotiation skills and a solid understanding of demand planning to meet the needs of our customers effectively. Previous experience working in Parts Departments within dealerships considered strong asset.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience in a parts management role, preferably within a dealership setting.
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to buy effectively from suppliers.
• Experience in sourcing and demand planning is essential.
• Proficiency in using DMS’ or similar inventory management systems.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with team members.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.

• Manage the parts inventory, ensuring optimal stock levels to meet customer demand.
• Source and negotiate with suppliers to obtain quality parts at competitive prices.
• Oversee the purchasing process for all parts, including ordering, receiving, and stocking.
• Utilize DMS to track inventory levels and manage parts data efficiently.
• Collaborate with service technicians and sales teams to forecast demand and plan accordingly.
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions related to parts management.
• Train and supervise staff within the parts department to ensure high standards of service.
